As we continue to reinforce our focus of students first: working as a team for continuous improvement, our district staff and students have held Chiefs Day events every Friday leading up to the Super Bowl. Character education leadership lessons have been shared as a theme for all schools as we cheer the Chiefs on and prepare for our own celebration of learning experience with KAP state testing.
We thank our parents, staff and students for helping us have a great season of learning again this year and we are looking forward to meeting parents in February for parent conferences. It takes a team working together to support students in achieving at high levels.
This week, school board members, the Mayor, Lieutenant Governor, and state KNEA officials attended the KNEA chili and chat with legislators and had a wonderful time at Topeka High, who serves as the incredible host school every year.
The collaboration at the local and state level is a reminder that it takes a collective effort to achieve our goals.
