Dear Topeka Public Schools and Family,
Happy first week of summer! Summer school for staff and students is underway. We encourage all of our families to help our students remain engaged in one of the many summer events in Topeka.
Three years ago our summer enrichment program was piloted and today was the first day for this year. We have courses in the arts, STEM areas and in college exploration. Hundreds of students from Topeka and surrounding areas started camp with fun and excitement today. Summer camp ends in June and enrollment is ongoing in camps that have space available.
We will also have several schools open to serve food to the community for breakfast and lunch, you can find more information in this newsletter.
Our staff remains available if there are any questions or needs over the summer. Enjoy the summer experiences and we look forward to seeing many of our students this month.
